Practice #1

We had out first ever Lethbridge Scenthurdle practice!

It was a lot of fun and I hope that you guys have a better idea now of what's involved and what you need to work on.

What we did:
Basic Dummy work- fetching
Box work- placing single dumbbell on box and sending dog
Restrained recall over 4 jumps-
Sending over 4 jumps to a food bowl and coming back over 4 jumps to owner.

Next time:
I expect improved fetching from those of you who have to work on it.
Discrimination. For the dogs who will readily fetch we'll start working on scent discrimination
More sending over jumps to food bowl and coming back.
Adding in passing.
Box Work- teaching dogs to go around box instead of over it. :o)
